Welcome to Agathor's PAGE!

Born just ten miles south east of Rontlesburg; Agathor started life as a Gnome...but so much has happened since then!

Born to the house of a not so wealthy gem cutter in Austwhine, outside the capital city of the Gnomish kingdom; Agathor watched his father slave away for the merchant families of the great city. He watched & was not quiet about his distaste for their trading methods, placing huge markups on the goods & giving Arathor(his father) enough compensation for his time to allow his family to barely survive.

Agathor's outbursts became more public on one occassion & his father's workload stopped alltogether. Begging the Guild Master of the Gem Merchants for leniency; Arathor was forced to send Agathor off into the outlander service, to act as a spy in the ongoing wars with the goblins in the eastern hills, some twenty days march from Austwhine.

While the Guild Master's plan was to see the young upstart dead or at least put in his place; the result was anything but what he could have forseen. Agathor took to the tracking & skulking techniques of the Gnomish Empirical Forest Stalkers. Took to it so well that he was the only survivor of the company he was a part of when the Goblins made one of the huge offensive attacks which formed the Goblinoid Rush*. Given an honourable discharge for services rendered, Agathor used his new found fame to have the Guild Master replaced through blackmail & then, after explaining the true value of his father's work to the new Guild Master & how tenuous his appointment could be if Agathor's family was not looked after... Agathor bade his family farewell & headed for the Human trading town which had recently been appointed hub city of the Southern Frontier...
